Master Bedroom Twin Bedroom
There are tubs of flowers and a large circular wooden picnic table on the paved side terrace approaching the glazed French doors which open into an enormous open-plan barn incorporating the living/dining room and kitchen. The barn has an impressive cathedral ceiling with oak beams and Velux windows which flood the room with afternoon and evening sunlight. There is a dining table to seat six, a splendid chunky antique pine pew, a pine dresser, a sofa and two comfortable armchairs and a powerful wood-burner. Satellite TV, radio/CD player and DVD player are provided for your entertainment, plus plenty of books and a compendium of board games. There is internet access (Broadband WiFi) for your laptop or other device to link to the Internet.
Shown below is the well-equipped open-plan kitchen which forms part of the barn. Appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine, built-in electric conventional/fan oven, 6-burner stainless-steel gas hob, microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, toaster, etc and plenty of utensils for the enthusiastic cook......
A beamed entry from the barn to the inner hall leads to the two bedrooms. The master double bedroom - which features the original stone sink and chimney-breast - has a king-size bed, wardrobe, chest-of-drawers and an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, washbasin, WC and plenty of storage space. The twin room has two comfortable single beds, wardrobe and chest-of-drawers.
The spacious family bathroom, also off the hall, has a bath, separate shower, washbasin, WC and storage.
There are meter-controlled heated towel rails in the two bathrooms and an electric convector heater in the hall. Logs for the wood-burner, if used, incur an additional charge.
All the rooms are well-insulated and there is a constant supply of hot water.
